Winter/New Year

I SELL ON ETSY!

Good Sunday morning all!

It's been over a month since I've posted anything about anything so I guess I better hop to it.

It's a beautiful sunny day here in Illinois(where I am). The temp is 75 which is welcoming since I just came back from visiting my family in Texas over Labor Day and it was HOT but it's worth it being able to see my sister and niece. We always have a great time. I'm hoping someday to be able to move back to Texas, I miss it....yes even the triple digit summers. As long as there are air conditioners, I'm fine!

Anyway, I apologize for not posting more often. I never seem to find the time. I have 2 stitchy updates for now.

Here's my first finish...

"Star Spangled Garden" by Country Cottage Needleworks stitched on 18ct Aida "Aerial" by Picture This Plus. It's going into my drawer of finishes for now.

My second finish is....
I finished stitching this sometime ago and finally got around to making it into a candle mat. It's "Honey Bees" by Prairie Grove Peddler.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week and thank you for hopping by today!

  1. I really like that Star Spangled Garden - will have to find it somewhere and add it to my stash. I also like your candle mat - too pretty to cover up! ;-)

    1. Thanks Donna! I think I bought it through 123 Stitch since that's where I buy most of my stash. That's my thought, too on the candle mat! Those bees are just too cute to smother!

  6. I don't know how I missed this post! I really like your candle mat finish... although, I'd be afraid to use a candle on it. Congrats on your other finish, too. It's adorable.
